Heal Charlotte - Housing Stability Program
They have just opened up a new transitional housing program at the old Baymont Motel at 5415 Equipment Dr.
You must be employed to enter the program and families are given preference over individuals. Based on circumstances, there are some rooms reserved for those who can't pay any rent at all. They are for a maximum of 90 days. There are 60 rooms where the rent is just $750/month and there's a 6 month maximum stay. The program opened at the end of April and there's already a waiting list.
